Pronouncement of the Trial Panel’s verdict in the case of Željko Tasovac and Others, which is in trial before Section II for Organised Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption, has been scheduled for tomorrow, 6 June 2007 in courtroom 4, starting at 9.00am.

The indictment charges Željko Tasovac, Nikola Šaraba, Dražen Radić, Miodrag Ateljević, Nada Tasovac and Slobodan Popovac with, inter alia, the criminal offences of Organised crime, Obstruction of justice and Attempted murder.  Further, the indictment charges the seventh accused, Nebojša Vukoje, with the criminal offences of Organised crime, Obstruction of justice, Grievous bodily injury and Illegal manufacturing and trade in weapons or explosive substances.

During the course of the trial, which started on 11 December 2006, the Trial Panel has held 34 sessions with more than 100 hours in trial.
