A hearing before the Appellate Panel of Section I for War Crimes of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) in the case of Radovan Stanković has been scheduled for tomorrow, 28 March 2007 in courtroom 5, starting at 10.00am.

On 14 November 2006, the Trial Panel handed down the first instance verdict in this case, finding Radovan Stanković guilty of Crimes against humanity committed in the period August to October 1992 in the Foča municipality.  Stanković was sentenced to 16 years imprisonment. 

The above verdict was appealed by the Accused, his defence counsel and the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH.
