Accused in the Bektašević and others case pleaded not guilty

At a hearing held today before the preliminary hearing judge of Section II for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) in the Bektašević and others case, all the accused (except Amir Bajrić) pleaded not guilty to all counts in the indictment. The accused Amir Bajrić did not appear at this morning’s hearing.

The indictment filed by the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina charges the accused with the following criminal offenses:

  • Bektašević Mirsad and Cesur Abdulkadir with the offense of terrorism pursuant to Article 201 paragraph 1 in conjuction with paragrapf  4 item (f) of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CC BiH) and offense of attempted obstructing an official person in execution of official activity pursuant to Article 358 paragraph 1 of Criminal Code of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CC FBiH)
  • Ikanović Bajro with the offense of terrorism pursuant to Article 201 paragraph 1 in conjuction with paragrapf  4 item (f) of CC BiH

The remaining two accused, Bajrić Amir and Hasanović Senad, are charged with the criminal offense of illicit possesion of weapons or explosove substances pursuant to Article 371 paragraph 2 of CC FBiH.
