The trial panel of Section I for War crimes of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) appointed new defense attorneys for the accused Radovan Stanković on 12 April 2006. Mr Dragica Glušac and Mr Nebojša Pantić will replace the accused’s previous attorney Mr. Milenko Radović. The Panel will schedule the commencement of the main trial as soon as all procedural conditions have been met.

The indictment, which the Court confirmed/accepted on 7 December 2005, charges the accused for the criminal offense of crimes against humanity pursuant to Article 172 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of BiH. The factual allegations in the indictment relate to events in the area of Foča between April 1992 and February 1993.
