Ruling on the Prosecutor’s Motion to order custody, on 2 May 2021 the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued a decision in the case of Ermin Ljumić, ordering the custody of suspect Ermin Ljumić, which may last for a maximum of one month following his arrest, meaning until 30 May 2021, on the custody grounds referred to in Article 132(1)b) of the Criminal Procedure Code of BiH (CPC BiH), which is the fear that he may destroy, conceal, alter or forge evidence or clues critical to the criminal proceeding, and on special circumstances indicating that he might hinder the criminal proceeding by exerting influence on witnesses, accomplices or accessories.
Ermin Ljumić is suspected of committing the criminal offense of Organized Crime under Article 250 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CC BiH) as read with the criminal offense of Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs under Article 195(1) CCBiH.
