In deciding on a motion of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH to order the accused Toni Hamidović in custody, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued, on 30 September 2019, a decision putting out of force the Decision of the Court of BiH of 23 September 2019 against the accused Toni Hamidović, and ordering this accused in custody, which can last no longer than 2 (two) years, running from the day when he was arrested, that is, from 27 September 2019, or until a new decision of the Court. The custody was ordered on the custody grounds set forth in Article 132(1)(a) of the CPC BiH, that is, for a risk of flight.

The indictment charged the accused Toni Hamidović with the commission of the criminal offense of Organized Crime under Article 250(2) of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CC BiH), in connection with the criminal offense of International Human Trafficking under Article 186(1), (2) and (4) of the CC BiH, the criminal offense of Forgery of a Document 373(1) of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CC FBiH), the criminal offense of Giving Gifts and Other Forms of Benefit under Article under Article 218(1) of the CC BiH and the criminal offense of Money Laundering under Article 209(1), (2) and (3) of the CC BiH.
