Deciding upon the Motion of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina to order custody, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina rendered the Decision dated 06 October 2014 ordering the Accused Dragan Šekarić into custody. According to the Decision, the custody may last until 6 November 2014.

Following the examination of the protected witness S-4 at the main on 6 October 2014, the Prosecution moved the Court to order the Accused Dragan Šekarić into custody because of the violation of the prohibiting measures – ban on travel and ban on contacting the witnesses listed in the Indictment.

The Court found that the grounded suspicion that the Suspect committed the criminal offenses he is charged with, as a requirement to retain the measure of custody, is corroborated by the fact that Indictment was confirmed on 14 January 2014, and ordered the Accused Šekarić into custody due to the circumstances that suggest the risk of flight and particular circumstances that suggest that he might hinder the criminal proceedings by influencing the witnesses.

Dragan Šekarić is charged with the criminal offense of Crimes against Humanity in violation of Article 172(1)(h) as read with (a), (d), (e), (g), (i) and (k) as read with Article 180(1) of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
