Hearing before the Appellate Panel scheduled in the Miloš Stupar et al. case

Hearing before the Appellate Panel of the Section I for War Crimes of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) in the Miloš Stupar et al. case, has been scheduled for 8 September 2009, starting at 10:00a.m. in courtroom 6.

On 29 July 2008 the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) delivered the first-instance Verdict in the Miloš Stupar et al. case, by which the accused Milenko Trifunović, Brane Džinić i Aleksandar Radovanović were found guilty of the criminal offence of Genocide and sentenced to 42 years long-term imprisonment and the accused Miloš Stupar, Slobodan Jakovljević i Branislav Medan were also found guilty of the criminal offence of Genocide and sentenced to 40 years long-term imprisonment.

Four accused, Velibor Maksimović, Dragiša Živanović, Milovan Matić, and Miladin Stevanović, were acquitted of all charges.
