Indictment Confirmed in the Case of Mustafa Vrabac

On 29 December 2023, the Court of BiH confirmed an indictment in the case of Mustafa Vrabac (S1 2 K 044784 23 Krn), charging the accused Mustafa Vrabac that, by the acts described in the indictment, he committed the criminal offense of Forging Official Documents under Article 226(1) of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CC BiH) and the criminal offense of Accepting Gifts or Other Forms of Benefit under Article 219(1) of the CC BiH as read with Article 53 of the CC BiH.

The accused has been charged that, between 7 February 2019 and 11 July 2022, as an official person within the BiH institutions, holding the office of the head of the General Affairs Department of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH (POBiH), knowingly, willingly and by abusing his official position of the head of the PO’s General Affairs Department, he forged a PO’s official document, and used it with no authorization to represent himself as an investigator of the BiH Prosecutor’s Office, namely as an authorized official person of the BiH Prosecutor’s Office, and thus, in the end of 2022 and in the beginning of 2023, he contacted a person he knew, requested and accepted from that person a monetary gift in the amount of 20,000.00 KM, allegedly in order to mediate among official persons of the BiH Prosecutor’s Office, and thereby obtained ill-gotten gain to him.
