BiH JUSTICE MINISTER DAVOR BUNOZA VISITS COURT OF BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

The newly-appointed BiH Justice Minister, Davor Bunoza, Chief-of-Staff Ivana Zovko Planinić and Secretary Željko Bogut have visited the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina and met with the Court of BiH President, Ranko Debevec, Head of the Court’s Criminal Division, Judge Minka Kreho, Judge Davorin Jukić and the Registrar for the Court, Emira Hodžić.

Minister Bunoza was welcomed to the Court, and was informed about the Court’s operations and the activities the two institutions have been taking within their respective legal competences. Also discussed were future plans, with a particular emphasis on mutual legal assistance as a rather important institution that has been applied by the two institutions on a daily basis.

 

The Justice Minister voiced his full support for the work of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and stressed the Ministry’s readiness to carry out successful inter-institutional cooperation for the purpose of achieving common objectives, in accordance with the applicable laws.

 

At the end of the visit, representatives of the Justice Ministry thanked their hosts for the reception, voiced support for future operations, and reiterated their strong commitment in the process of strengthening the rule of law in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
