Nihad Bojadžić enters a not guilty plea

At a plea hearing in the case v. Nihad Bojadžić before Section I for War Crimes of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Accused Nihad Bojadžić entered a not guilty plea.

On 6 January 2012, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed the Indictment in the case v. Nihad Bojadžić under which the Accused Bojadžić is charged with the criminal offense of War Crimes against Civilians and War Crimes against Prisoners of War.

 

The Indictment alleges, among other things, that the Accused Nihad Bojadžić, as a Deputy Commander of the Special Detachment for Special Purposes Zulfikar of the Supreme Command Staff of the Army of Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, participated in torture, inhumane treatment, forced labor, infliction of grave bodily injuries, sexual abuse and rape of civilians of Croat ethnicity and members of the Croatian Defense Council, incarcerated in the prison facility Muzej – Bitka na Neretvi in Jablanica.
