The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed on 22 October 2014 the Indictment under which the Accused Nevenko Božičić and Slavko Bibić are charged with the criminal offense of Organized Crime in violation of Article 250(2) as read with the criminal offense of Counterfeiting of Money in violation of 205(2) as read with Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Milisavlljević and Pantelić found guilty, Tasić acquitted

Following the completion of the main trial, the Trial Panel of the Section I for War Crimes of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina handed down the Trial Verdict on 28 October 2014 under which the Accused Predrag Milisavljević and Miloš Pantelić are found guilty of the criminal offense of Crimes against Humanity in violation of Article 172(1)(h) as read with (a) in conjunction with Article 29 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In that regard the Accused Predrag Milisavljević and Miloš Pantelić are sentenced to imprisonment of 20 years each. Under the said Verdict, the Accused Predrag Milisavljević is acquitted of the charges for the criminal offense of Crimes against Humanity in violation of Article 172(1)(h) as read with (f) and (g) in conjunction with Article 29 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina, all in conjunction with Article 180(1) of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Under the said Verdict, the Accused Miloš Pantelić is acquitted of the charges for the criminal offense of Crimes against Humanity in violation of Article 172(1)(h) as read with (e), (f), (h) and (k) in conjunction with Article 29 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina, all in conjunction with Article 180(1) of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Under the said Verdict, the Accused Predrag Milisavljević, Miloš Pantelić and Ljubomir Tasić are acquitted of the charges for the criminal offense of Crimes against Humanity in violation of Article 172(1)(h) as read with (d) and (e) in conjunction with Article 29 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina, all in conjunction with Article 180(1) of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Predrag Vrakelja concluded a Guilty Plea Agreement

Following the review and acceptance of the Guilty Plea Agreement in the case v. Arif Peleš et al. the Trial Panel of the Section II for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina handed down on 27 October 2014 the Verdict under which the Predrag Vrakelja is found guilty of the criminal offense of Organized Crime in violation of Article 250(4) as read with the criminal offense of Illicit Trafficking in Weapons and Military Equipment and Products of Dual Usage in violation of Article 193(1) of the Criminal Code of BIH. To that regard, the Court pronounced the Accused Predrag Vrakelja a suspended prison sentence of two (2) years unless the Accused commits further offense during the operational period of four (4) years. Furthermore, the Court pronounced the security measure- confiscation of items, while the Accused is relieved of the duty to reimburse the costs of the criminal proceedings.
Appeals Verdicts in the case v. Satko Kekić et al. sent out

Panel of the Appeals Division of the Section II for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina sent out on 6 October 2014 the Appeals Verdict dated 31 July 2014 refusing as unfounded appeals of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, defense counsel for the Accused Satko Kekić, defense counsel for the Accused Dželad Palić and defense counsel for the Accused Amir Fazlić and upholding the Trial Verdict dated 24 April 2014 in relation to the Accused Satko Kekić, Dželad Palić and Amir Fazlić. Under the said Verdict, the appeal filed by the Defense Counsel for the Accused Zuhra Kekić is upheld and the Trial Verdict modified in terms of the application of the criminal code in as much as the Accused Zuhra Kekić is acquitted of the charges and relieved of the duty to reimburse the costs of the criminal proceedings. The trial Verdict remained unchanged in the remaining part.

The Panel of the Appeals Division of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina sent out the Appeals Verdict dated 29 September 2014 refusing as unfounded the Prosecution appeal in the part related to the acquitting part of the Trial Verdict No. S1 1 K 008728 12 Kri dated 15 January 2014 and upholding the Trial Verdict in that part, and granting the appeals filed by the Accused Željko Jukić and his Defense Counsel and revoking the Trial Verdict in its convicting part thereby ordering a re-trial before the Panel of the Appelas Division of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Panel of the Appeals Division of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina sent out on 20 October 2014 the second-instance Verdict in the case v. Haris Čaušević et al. refusing as unfounded the appeal filed by the Prosecution from the Trial Verdict dated 20 December 2013 and confirming the said Verdict in its acquitting part related to the Accused Naser Palislamović. At the same time, the appeal filed by the Defense Counsel for the Accused Haris Čaušević is upheld, the Trial Verdict in its convicting part revoked and re-trial before the Appeals Panel ordered.
The Suspects in Andrija Bjelošević et al. Ordered into Custody

Deciding upon a Motion of the BiH Prosecutor’s Office to extend custody, the Appellate Panel of the Court of BiH issued, on 23 October 2014, a decision granting the Prosecution’s appeal filed from the Decision of the Court of BiH of 30 September 2014, and extending the custody of the suspects in Andrija Bjelošević et al. for additional two months following the day the suspects were deprived of liberty. The custody is extended in relation to Andrija Bjelošević, Milan Savić, Dušan Kuzmanović, Marinko Đukić, Miroslav Pijunović, Dobrivoje Ćulibrk, Saša Gavranović, Vitomir Dević and Zoran Šljuka.

Following the review and acceptance of the Guilty Plea Agreement in the case v. Draženko Volaš et al. the Trial Panel of the Section II for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina handed down on 21 October 2014 the Verdict under which the Accused Draženko Volaš and legal entity Sistem Euroinvest are found guilty of the continued criminal offense of Tax Evasion in violation of Article 210 (1) of the Criminal Code of BIH as read with Article 54 and Article 124 (c) of the said Code. To that regard, the Court sentenced them as follows: the Accused Draženko Volaš a suspended prison sentence of ten (10) months unless the Accused commits further offense during the operational period of three (3) years, and the Accused –legal entity Sistem Euroinvest d.o.o Banja Luka a fine in the amount of KM 5,000.00 KM (five thousand) KM that the legal entity must pay within six (6) months from the day the Verdict becomes final.

The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina rendered the Decision dated 16 October 2014 partially granting the Prosecution appeal filed from the Decision of the Court dated 6 October 2014 terminating custody and ordering prohibiting measures and modifying the said Decision in as much as that the custody of the Suspects Dragiša Brnić, Neven Stanić, Duško Spasojević and Edin Dugalić is extended due to the circumstances that suggest the risk of flight, because of a fear that the Suspects, if released, could hinder the proceedings by influencing witnesses, accomplices and aiders or abettors, or that they might destroy, hide, alter or falsify evidence or clues important for the criminal proceedings, and due to particular circumstances that justify the fear that the Suspects will repeat or complete the criminal offense.

Under the said Decision, the custody may last until 15 November 2014 or pending a new Decision of the Court. Having reviewed the submitted evidentiary material, the Court found that there is grounded suspicion that the Suspect committed the criminal offense alleged against him, and ordered the custody because of the circumstances suggesting the risk of flight and a fear that the Suspect, if released, could hinder the proceedings by influencing witnesses, accomplices and aiders or abettors, or that he might destroy, hide, alter or falsify evidence or clues important for the criminal proceedings.
