First Instance Verdict in Božić et. al. confirmed (08.02.2010. 15:56)
The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, following the session of the Appellate Division Panel and the review of the appeals of the Prosecutor\'s Office of BiH and defense counsel for the accused Mladen Blagojević, rendered the Second Instance Verdict refusing the appeals of both the Prosecution and the Defense as unfounded and confirming the First Instance Verdict dated 6 November 2008. Under the First Instance Verdict the accused Mladen Blagojević was found guilty of Crimes against Humanity under Article 172 (1) (h) in conjunction with subparagraph (k), all as read with Article 180 (1) of the Criminal Code of BiH (CC BiH). The accused Mladen Blagojević was sentenced to prison sentence of seven years. Under the same Verdict, the accused Mladen Blagojević was acquitted of a part of the charges, while the accused Zdravko Božić, Zoran Živanović and Željko Zarić were acquitted of all charges under Article 172 (1) (h) in conjunction with subparagraphs (a), (d) and (e) CC BiH (Crimes against Humanity).
Predrag Bastah and Goran Višković found guilty of Crimes against Humanity (08.02.2010. 13:47)
On Friday, 5 February 2010, following a public main trial, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced the first instance verdict finding the accused Predrag Bastah and Goran Višković guilty of the criminal offense of Crimes against Humanity in violation of Article 172(1) h) of the Criminal Code of BiH (the CC of BiH), in conjunction with subparagraphs a), d), e), f), g), i) and k) of the same article and Article 29, as read with Article 180(1) of the CC of BiH. The Court sentenced the accused Bastah to long-term imprisonment for the term of 22 years and the accused Višković to prison sentence for the term of 18 years.
Plea hearing scheduled in the Ćerim Novalić case (08.02.2010. 12:50)
Plea hearing before the Section I for War Crimes of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), in the Ćerim Novalić case, has been scheduled for 9 February 2010, starting at 2:00p.m. in courtroom 8. Ćerim Novalić is charged with the criminal offence of War Crimes against Civilians.

Presentation of closing arguments before the Section II for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), in the Jasmir Kovačević case, has been scheduled for 9 February 2010, starting at 9:00a.m. in courtroom 5. Jasmir Kovačević and the legal entity Kiwi d.o.o. Bugojno are charged with the continued criminal offence of Tax Evasion.
Drago Marić ordered into custody (08.02.2010. 11:31)
On 6 February 2010 the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) issued a Decision ordering the suspect Drago Marić into one-month custody. Drago Marić is suspected of the criminal offence of Money Laundering. Pursuant to the Decision the custody may last until 5 March 2010.
Suspects in the Ilfad Hodžić et al. case ordered into custody (08.02.2010. 11:28)
On 6 February 2010 the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) issued a Decision in the Ilfad Hodžić et al. case ordering the suspects Ilfad Hodžić, Nedžad Kurtović, Zijad Muratović and Džemsudin Zulić into one-month custody. All of the suspects are suspected of the criminal offence of Organized Crime in conjunction with the criminal offence of Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs. Pursuant to the Decision the custody may last until 4 March 2010.
Indictment confirmed in the Milan Vuknić case (05.02.2010. 15:24)
On 5 February 2010 the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) confirmed the Indictment in the Milan Vuknić case, charging the accused Milan Vuknić with the criminal offence of Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs.
Suspects in the Nusret Imamović et al. case ordered into custody (05.02.2010. 12:33)
On 5 February 2010 the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) issued a Decision in the Nusret Imamović et al. case ordering the suspects Nusret Imamović, Safet Barčić, Edis Bosnić, Dževad Hodžić, Hajrudin Ribić, Senad Midžić and Mersed Čekić into one-month custody. All of the suspects are inter alia suspected of the criminal offences under CC BiH: Organized Crime in conjunction with the criminal offences of Attack on the Constitutional Order and Endangering Territorial Integrity and the criminal offences under the CC FBiH: Inciting National, Racial or Religious Hatred, Discord and Hostility and the criminal offence of Illicit Possession of Weapons or Explosive Substances. Pursuant to the Decision the custody may last until 2 March 2010.
First Instance Verdict in Momčilo Mandić Case Upheld (04.02.2010. 14:50)
The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, having reviewed the Appeal by the Prosecutor\'s Office of B-H and the responses to the Appeal at a session of the Panel of the Appellate Division, rendered the Second Instance Verdict refusing the Appeal by the Prosecutor\'s Office as unfounded and upholding the First Instance Verdict dated 18 July 2007.

Zulfikar Ališpago ordered into custody (03.02.2010. 14:06)
On 3 February 2010 the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) issued a decision in the Nedžad Hodžić et al. case ordering the suspect Zulfikar Ališpago into one-month pre-trial custody. Zulfikar Ališpago is suspected based on his command responsibility of committing the criminal offences of War Crimes against Civilians and War Crimes against Prisoners of War. Pursuant to the Decision the pre-trial custody may last until 1 March 2010.

Commencement of trial before the Section I for War Crimes of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), in the Darko Dolić case has been scheduled for 4 February 2010, starting at 1:00p.m. in courtroom 8. Darko Dolić is charged with the criminal offence of War Crimes against Civilians.
Verdict pronounced in the Pero Tokalić et al. case (28.01.2010. 16:23)
The Trial Panel of Section II for Organised Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, after the main trial, pronounced the Trial Verdict finding the accused Luca Tokalić, Pero Tokalić and the legal entity Tock promet Ltd. Novi Travnik guilty of the continued criminal offence of Tax Evasion referred to in Article 273, Paragraph 3 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (the CC of FB-H) in conjunction with Article 55 of the CC of FB-H. The Court sentenced the accused Luca Tokalić to one year imprisonment, the accused Pero Tokalić to three years imprisonment, and fined the legal entity with BAM 80,000.00.
The Court also ordered that the proceeds from crime in the amount of BAM 1,346,512.82 be forfeited.

Željko Smoljan Found Guilty (26.01.2010. 15:12)
Upon consideration and acceptance of the Plea statement of the accused Željko Smoljan, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) pronounced the Verdict by which the accused Smoljan was found guilty of the criminal offence of Organized Crime in conjunction with the continued criminal offence of Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs and sentenced to four years of imprisonment. The Court seized from the accused material benefit gained by the perpetration of the criminal offence, in the amount of EURO 10.575,00 and BAM 61,00.
