
Lučić was found guilty of unlawfully arresting six Bosniak civilians together with other military police officers during June and July 1993, as commander of the Croatian Defence Council (HVO) Military Police in Kreševo. The Trial Panel also found that on 20 June 1993, together with two of his subordinates, Lučić arrested a Bosniak whom he escorted to a detention camp located in the Ivo Lola Ribar Elementary School in Kreševo. Following this, the detainee was physically abused by the Accused and another member of the Military Police.
Krešo Lučić also tortured detained Bosniaks who had been brought from the Šunje camp to the Kreševo Military Police Headquarters during June and July 1993.
Krešo Lučić was acquitted of the charge of interrogating and physically abusing a detained Bosniak on 18 July 1993 in the Kreševo Military Police Headquarters, and ordering his subordinates to physically assault this detainee.
The time the Accused spent in custody from 26 April 2006 to 19 January 2007 will count towards his sentence. The Court has issued a decision extending restrictive measures imposed on the Accused in accordance with the decision dated 11 January 2007.
