Main trial commences in the case v. Mevlid Jašarević et al.

Commencement of the main trial in the case v. Mevlid Jašarević et al. before the Section II for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption of the Court of BIH is scheduled to take place on 15 June 2012 starting at 11:00 a.m. in Courtroom 8.

On 25 April 2012, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed the Indictment in the case v. Mevlid Jašarević et al.  under which the Accused Mevlid Jašarević, Emrah Fojnica and Munib Ahmetspahić are charged as follows:

  • the Accused Mevlid Jašarević is charged with the criminal offense of Organizing a Terrorist Group  in violation of Article 202d. (2) of the Criminal Code of BIH in conjunction with the criminal offense of Terrorism in violation of Article 201(1) as read with Paragraph (5) sub-Paragraphs (a) and (d) of the Criminal Code of BIH;
  • the Accused Emrah Fojnica and Munib Ahmetspahić are charged with the criminal offense of Organizing a Terrorist Group  in violation of Article 202d. (2) of the Criminal Code of BIH in conjunction with the criminal offense of Terrorism in violation of Article 201 (4) of the Criminal Code of BIH.
