
The indictment filed by the BiH Prosecutor’s Office alleges that Momčilo Mandić, acting as a deputy to Minister for internal affairs of the so called Serb Republic of BiH, lead the attack on “Training centre of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of BiH” in Vraca, Sarajevo on 6 April 1992 carried out by the police forces of the so called Serb Republic of BiH together with military and paramilitary units.
The indictment further alleges that the accused, having a duty of a Minister of Justice in the Government of the so called Serb Republic of BiH, was exclusively responsible for functioning of the correctional facilities in the Serb Republic of BiH between May and December 1992 including Correctional facility “Butmir”, Ilidža, its division which was placed in “Planjina kuća” in the village of Svrake (Vogošća) and Correctional facility “Foča” in Foča for which is alleged to have all the elements of a camp where many non-Serb civilians were illegally imprisoned.
