The Appellate Division Panel of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina will Friday, 21 July 2023, at 11 a.m., pronounce an Appeals Judgment in the case of Zijad Mutap et al.

The Indictment charges the accused with the criminal offense of Organized Crime under Article 342(3) CC FBiH in conjunction with the criminal offenses of Illegal Interceding under Article 382(2) CC FBiH, Accessory After the Fact under Article 346(2) CC FBiH, Tampering with Evidence under Article 349(1) CC FBiH and Giving False Statement under Article 348(3) CC FBiH, as read with Paragraph 1, of the same Code.

The accused Zijad Mutap, Hasan Dupovac, Alisa Ramić, Josip Barić and Muamer Ožegović, are, inter alia, charged with joining a group for organized crime, set up by Zijad Mutap in order to conceal the evidence about the manner in which Dženan Memić received grave life-threatening injuries on 8 February 2016, due to which he eventually died, so that, by concealing the evidence and perpetrators, by feigning evidence, concealing the facts known to them, they took steps with the aim of concealing the actual manner in which Dženan Memić had received grave life-threatening injuries, all with the aim of covering up the actual perpetrators and the actual manner in which Dženan Memić was injured.
