The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina hosted today, 11 April 2023, a group of students of the Faculty of Law of the International University in Sarajevo (IUS).

Within the visit to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the students of the IUS faculty from Bosnia and Herzegovina, the United States of America and the Republic of Turkiye had an opportunity to speak with the representatives of the Legal Division, Witness Support Section and Public Information and Outreach Section of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The students were very interested in obtaining information about the organization of the Court and the trial process, having showed a particular interest in both the activities of the Witness Support Section and the role of legal advisors, namely the manner in which they provide assistance to the trial panels of the Court. In addition, they had an opportunity to see the video-footage of the hearing held in a war crimes case, during which a witness with granted protective measures gave his evidence.

The students have extended their gratitude for both the good quality organization of the visit and the useful information obtained on this occasion.
