In order to provide timely and objective information to the public, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina finds it appropriate to issue the following statement:

On 14 April 2026, acting upon a criminal complaint filed by the Acting President of the Court of BiH, Judge Minka Kreho, members of the BiH State Investigation and Protection Agency and the Border Police, and upon the order and under the supervision of the prosecutor on duty at the BiH Prosecutor's Office, deprived S.B. of his liberty due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of Embezzlement in Office under Article 221 of the Criminal Code of BiH, in such a way that, as an employee of the Court of BiH, assigned to the position: specialist officer for the execution of criminal sanctions and records of temporarily seized objects at the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the previous period he appropriated an undetermined amount of cash, stored in the KDP of the Court of BiH.
