Court of BiH President Ranko Debevec on Wednesday received a visit from Mr. Almir Džuvo, the newly-appointed Director of the BiH Intelligence and Security Agency (OSA).

Mr. Džuvo was informed about the operations of the Court of BiH, the cooperation between the Court of BiH and OSA, and the challenges the two institutions have been facing.

Voicing mutual interest in having the inter-institutional cooperation taking place at a high level, they discussed the modalities of joint activities, with the aim of efficient operation within their competences under the law. The discussion stressed the need to develop a culture of respect for the rule of law and for preserving the independence of state-level institutions.

Mr. Džuvo thanked his hosts for the welcome, and for the exchange of experiences and information, noting that he remained open for further development of good cooperation of the two institutions for the purpose of achieving common objectives, in accordance with the applicable laws.
