The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed, on 18 April 2024, an indictment in the case of  Vasvija Vidović (S1 3 K 047098 24 Kps) charging the accused Vasvija Vidović with the criminal offense of Tampering with Evidence under Article 236(2) of the CC BiH.

The accused Vidović has been charged on the ground that, on 18 December 2023, at around 18:00 hrs, she visited the premises of the State Investigation and Protection Agency as a defense counsel for the suspect R.D., and that after the suspect R. D. was given a possibility to comminicate in private with the accused Vasvija Vidović, as his defense counsel, without presence of police officers in a separate room within the State Investigation and Protection Agency, being aware of her unlawful acts and wanting them, and after R. D. took out a mobile telephone from a bag he had had on him and handed it over to her, the accused Vasvija Vidović being aware and knowing that the referenced mobile telephone was to be seized pursuant to an order of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina and that it was to serve as evidence in the criminal proceedings pending against R. D., she toook over the telephone in the manner known to her and hid it in her bag, with the aim to make siginficantly harder the evidentiary procedure in the proceedings pending against R. D. before the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina by way of hiding the mobile telephon at issue.
