The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed, on 7 January 2026, an indictment in the case of Radislav Krstić, charging the accused Radislav Krstić that, by the acts described in the indictment, he had committed the criminal offense of Crimes against Humanity under Article 172(1) h) in connection sub-paragraphs with a) and d) of the CC BiH, all as read with Article 180(1) and Articles 29, 30 and 31 of the same Code.

The accused Radislav Krstić has been, inter alia, charged that during the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina, from mid-May to at least late-September 1992, in the territory of the Sokolac municipality, within a widespread and systematic attack of the Territorial Defense of the Serb Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, within which the Territorial Defense of the Sokolac municipality was formed and functioned, subsequently the Army of the Serb of Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, i.e. the Army of Republika Srpske (VRS), the police forces of the MUP of the Serb Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Public Security Station of the Sokolac municipality, directed against the civilian population of the Sokolac municipality, as the Commander of the 2^nd Romanija Motorized Brigade of the VRS, being aware of that attack and knowing that his acts formed a part of the attack, along with other persons known to him, he had planned, ordered, committed instigated and aided and abetted planning, preparation, commission and concealing of the criminal offense of Crimes against Humanity by way of enforced relocation of the population, intentional deprivation of lives of other persons (murder), destruction and plundering of movable and immovable property, and the destruction of a religious facility, willingly and knowingly participating in furtherance of the joint criminal design of the military civilian and police authorities of the Sokolac municipality, whose aim was to forcefully expel Bosniaks of the village of Novoseoci from the territory held under the control of the Serb authorities
