Having held a hearing on Prosecutor’s Motion to remand the suspect Bahrudin Kapić in custody, on 21 April 2026 the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued a Decision granting the Motion, and remanded the suspect Bahrudin Kapić in one-month custody, running from the day of his arrest, i.e. until 18 May 2026, or until the Court issues a new decision.
The suspect was remanded in custody on grounded suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs under Article 195, Paragraphs 2 and 1, of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and on specific grounds of custody set forth in Article 132(1), Subparagraphs a), b) and c), of the CPC BiH, which is the flight risk, the concern that, if released, the suspect may destroy, conceal, alter or forge the evidence and traces important for the criminal proceeding, and interfere with the witnesses, accomplices and accessories, and on the ground of risk that he may repeat the criminal offense.
