On 26 May 2025 the Appellate Division Panel of the Court of BiH delivered an Appeal Judgment in the case of Zijad Srabović et al., dismissing as ill-founded the appeals filed by the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina and by defense counsel for the accused Zijad Srabović, Refik Morankić, Ahmet Bajrić, Abid Arapčić, Pašaga Čajić, Samir Džambić, Mirsad Žilić, as well as the appeal filed by the accused Samir Džambić, and upholding the Trial Judgment of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina No. S1 1 K 021677 19 Kri of 10 October 2024.
The Trial Judgment of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina No. S1 1 K 021677 19 Kri of 10 October 2024 found the accused Zijad Srabović, Refik Morankić, Ahmet Bajrić, Abid Arapčić, Pašaga Čajić, Mirsad Žilić and Samir Džambić guilty that, by the acts described in the operative part of the Judgment, they committed the criminal offense of War Crimes against Civilians under Article 142(1) of the Criminal Code of the Socialist Federative Republic of Yugoslavia, as read with Articles 22 and 30(1) of the Code, and the accused Zijad Srabović and Refik Morankić also as read with Article 30(2) of the Code, and imposed on them the following sentences:
- the accused Zijad Srabović to 6 (six) years of imprisonment,
- the accused Refik Morankić to 6 (six) years of imprisonment,
- the accused Ahmet Bajrić to 7 (seven) years of imprisonment,
- the accused Abid Arapčić to 5 (five) years of imprisonment,
- the accused Pašaga Čajić, Mirsad Žilić and Samir Džambić to 2 (two) years of imprisonment each.
