On Monday, 21 July 2025, at u 13:00 hrs, in the courtroom 4, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina will announce a first instance judgment in the case of Zoran Nešković et al. (S1 1 K 003410 22 Kri). The Indictment charged the accused with the criminal offense of War Crimes against Civilian Population under Article 142(1) of the CC SFRY, as read with Article 22 of the same Code, in relation to individual counts of the Indictment, and in relation to the accused Zoran Nešković also as read with Article 30(2) of the same Code, in relation to individual counts of the Indictment.

The Indictment, inter alia, alleges that during the period between late-July 1995 and 22 December 1995, in Rogatica, during the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina between members of the Army of Republika Srpska and Army of Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as members of the Military Police, the accused namely Zoran Nešković as a detention facility warden located in the barracks of the former “Rasadnik” agriculture farm, and Panto Pantović, Slaviša Đerić, Nenad Ujić and Pero Despet as guards in the referenced detention facility, acted against the non-Serb civilians from the territories of the Žepa, Rogatica and Srebrenica municipalities, unlawfully detained in the barracks of the former agriculture farm in Rogatica, in contravention of the provisions of the Geneva Convention Relative to the Protection of Civilian Parsons in Time of War of 12 August 1949 and the Additional Protocols I and II thereto.
