On Monday 26 December 2022 the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina will pronounce a Trial Judgment in the case of Elvis Salčinović et al. (S1 2 K 028556 18 K). Judgment pronouncement is scheduled for 9 a.m. in Courtroom 6.
The accused Elvis Salčinović, Toni Hamidović, Luka Hrustić, Kenan Frndić, Božidar Trišić and Nedeljko Dakić are, inter alia, charged that during a period between 2012 and 2015 they became members of a group for organized crime which was organized and led by Elvis Salčinović for the purpose of enticing, transporting, handing over and recruiting women, as well as minors, for the purpose of using those persons for perpetrating various criminal offenses in a country where those persons do not have any registered residence or citizenship. The confirmed Indictment also charges the accused that with the aim of obtaining benefit for themselves or someone else, they illegally transported and enabled the transportation of one or more persons across the state border and to that end made, obtained and possessed forged travel documents and personal IDs, so that by the perpetration of the above criminal offenses, by way of their exploitation, they acquired ill-gotten gain in the amount of 5,782,094.66 BAM in the form of cash, material goods and other forms of benefit, after which, using the money obtained by the commission of the criminal offenses abroad, they purchased movable property and real estate, added on and increased the value of own property, disposed thereof, made conversions and their transfer with the aim of legalizing the money obtained in this manner.
