The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina will Monday, 11 May 2026, at 9:30 a.m., in Courtroom 4, pronounce a Trial Judgment in the criminal case against the accused Duško Zorić, who is charged with the criminal offense of Crimes against Humanity under Article 172(1)h), as read with Subparagraphs a) and k), all in conjunction with Articles 180(1) and 29 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CC BiH).
The accused Duško Zorić is charged with having participated in the persecution of Bosniak civilians from the territory of the village of Zecovi, in the period from 23 to 28 July 1992, as part of a widespread and systematic attack by the army and police of the Serb Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, subsequently Republika Srpska, directed against the civilian Bosniak population of the village of Zecovi, Prijedor Municipality, as a member of the Rasavci Company operating within the 6th Battalion of the 43rd Prijedor Motorized Brigade, together with other members of the same company and members of the Rasavci Police Reserve Station, in the persecution of Bosniak civilians from the area of the village of Zecovi, all in conjunction with murders, torture and other inhumane acts of a similar nature.
