The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina will Thursday, 19 March 2026, at 9 a.m., in Courtroom 7, pronounce a Trial Judgment in the criminal case against the accused Boro Ivanović, who is charged with the criminal offense of Crimes against Humanity under Article 172(1)g) of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in conjunction with Article 180(1) of the Code.
The accused Boro Ivanović is charged with having repeatedly forced a female person to sexual intercourse (Rape) in the period from April to July 1992, during the armed conflict between the Army of Republika Srpska on the one side and the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the other, in the territory of the municipality of Foča, as a member of the Army of Republika Srpska, in the framework of a widespread and systematic attack directed against the civilian non-Serb population in the area of Foča, knowing about the attack and being aware that his actions formed a part of the attack.
