On 24 September 2024 Serge Brammertz, Chief Prosecutor of the International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals, held a working meeting with the Acting President of the Court of BiH, Judge Minka Kreho.

They exchanged opinions on the state of cooperation between the IRMCT and Bosnia and Herzegovina, which includes cooperation between the Western Balkan countries concerning war crimes prosecution, searching for missing persons, and the modalities with regard to the method of transferring cases in relation to the suspects and accused persons currently residing in the countries of the region.
