The Court will Friday, 24 January 2025, at 9:30 a.m., in Courtroom 8, pronounce a Trial Judgment in the criminal case versus the accused Mustafa Stovrag.

The accused is charged with the criminal offense of War Crimes against Prisoners of War under Article 175(1)a), as read with Article 180(1), all in conjunction with Article 29 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the manner that, during the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the armed conflict between the Army of BiH and the Army of Republika Srpska (VRS), in the territory of the municipalities of Rudo, Višegrad, Goražde and Foča, between October 1992 and November 1995, in his capacity as a member of the Army of BiH, i.e. member of the MUP R BiH, Public Security Station (SJB) Goražde, together with other members of the East Bosnia Operative Group (IBOG) of the Army of BiH, he proceeded in violation of the rules of international humanitarian law, and in breach of the provisions set forth in the Geneva Convention relative to the Treatment of Prisoners of War, by depriving them of their liberty and by committing other inhumane acts of similar nature against the captured members of the Army of Republika Srpska, with the intention to inflict great pain or serious physical or mental injury or deterioration of health.
