On 21 February 2023 the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina granted the Motion filed by the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina dated 20 February 2023 in the case of Slaven Radinković et al. and issued a Decision ordering custody of the suspects Slaven Radinković, Jovan Šuman, Igor Zarić and Damjan Tepić. According to the Decision, their custody may last for a maximum of one month, running from the day of their arrest, which means from 19 February 2023 to 19 March 2023 or pending a new decision of the Court, on both general and particular custody grounds set forth in Article 132(1)b), which is the concern that they may destroy, conceal, alter or forge the evidence or traces important for the criminal proceeding, and interfere with the witnesses, accomplices or accessories. The Court dismissed as ill-founded the Motion to order the suspects in custody on the particular custody ground laid down in Article 132(1)c) CPC BiH, which is the concern that they may repeat the criminal offense.
The Decision denied as ill-founded the Prosecutor’s Motion to order custody of the suspect Boris Grujić.
The persons listed above are suspected of the criminal offense of Organized Crime under Article 250, Paragraphs 2 and 3, of the CC BiH, as read with the criminal offense of Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs under Article 195 CC BiH.
