Trial Judgment to be pronounced in Began Muhić case

The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina will Wednesday, 8 April 2026, at 12:00 hours, in Courtroom 6, pronounce a Trial Judgment in the Began Muhić case.

 

The accused is charged with having committed, in the period from 6 January 2019 to 31 March 2023, the criminal offense of Fraud in Office under Article 222(3) as read with paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CCBiH), all in conjunction with Article 54 CCBiH, in such a way that, as an official person in the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, performing the duties of the Consul General of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Federal Republic of Germany, with the aim of obtaining unlawful material gain, he provided false information about his presence at work and regular work, and, by submitting and approving false statements about regular work, he misled the persons in charge of the finances of the Consulate General who made the unlawful payment of salaries and other compensations and daily allowances to the accused, in which way he obtained unlawful material gain for himself in the amount exceeding 50,000.00 BAM.
