On 13 July 2007 Criminal Defense Section (OKO) in cooperation with the International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC) organized in Sarajevo an advanced seminar on International Humanitarian Law.

First part of the program in the morning session was about definition of the International and Non-International conflict and definition of persons protected by the International Humanitarian Law. Presentations were given by Ms. Neda Dojcinovic, Legal Advisor of the ICRC Sarajevo and Mr. Richard Desgagne, ICRC Regional Legal Advisor for Central and Southeast Europe . Command and individual criminal responsibility were presented at the afternoon session by Mr. Thomas Wayde Pittman, Senior Legal Representative of Trial Chamber and Legal Support Section to the Chamber of the ICTY.
