Mr. Mirza Đozo was born in 1980 in Sarajevo, which is where he completed his primary and secondary education. He graduated from the School of Law, University of Sarajevo, in 2005, and passed his bar exam in 2007.

During the period from 2005 to 2007 he was first an intern and then a legal officer – case coordinator at the Registry for the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Between 2008 and 2013 he worked as a legal officer at the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

From July 2013 to May 2014 he was an Assistant Director of the Sarajevo Canton Free Legal Aid Institute.

In May 2014 the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina appointed him a prosecutor at the District Prosecutor's Office in Istočno Sarajevo, which is where he remained until August 2021. During 2021 he held the office of Head of the General Crime Department at the District Prosecutor's Office in Istočno Sarajevo.

The High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina then appointed him as an additional judge at the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo, which is the office he held from August 2021 to October 2023.

He has taken part in numerous national and international seminars and training courses on criminal law.

On 7 September 2023 the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council appointed him as a judge at Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
