The factual substrate of the indictment:

The Indictment charges the accused that, between July 1993 and March 1994, during an armed conflict between the HVO and AR BiH, Nedžad Ćorić, Jure Kordić, Dražen Lovrić, Nedžad Tinjak, Nuhan Šikalo, Dario Mihalj, Stanko Škrobić, Tomislav Ančić, Marinko Šunjić and Slavko Golemac, within a widespread and systematic attack launched by members of the HVO and the Military Police against the Bosniak civilian population  in the Herzegovina territory, concretely in the Municipality  Mostar, committed within a state campaign or organizational policy to commit such an attack, and being aware of such an attack launched with the  aim of imprisonment, abuse and persecution of the Bosniak civilian population from the territory of planned Croat state of Herzeg-Bosnia, in which the accused Nedžad Čorić et al., willingly and knowingly participated in a joint criminal enterprise, and by their acts or in some other manner aided and abetted the commission of various forms of physical, mental and sexual violence, and contributed to the creation of conditions at the camp, which were brutal and degrading, and committed in furtherance of joint criminal enterprise, or were natural or anticipated result, all in violation of international humanitarian law and the Geneva Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War of 12 August 1949, Article 3(1)(a) and (c).
