Witness Support Office

The Witness Support Office provides support and assistance to witnesses before, during and after their testimony in order to minimize potential difficulties caused by their testifying. In addition, the Office also takes care that all witnesses appear before the Court, and carries out its activities at the highest level of impartiality and confidentiality.

The Witness Support Office ensures that all witnesses are informed of their rights and have equal access to the services. A booklet which details testifying procedures before the Court of BiH is made available to the witnesses as they come to testify at the Court. The Office cooperates closely with the Witness Protection Unit on witness protection issues as well as with witness support sections in the region.
