On 3 November 2011, the Court issued a Decision ordering custody for the accused Goran Sarić. On 16 November 2012, the Court rendered the decision terminating custody of the accused Goran Sarić and imposing on him the prohibitive measures.

Factual allegations in the Indictment:
The Indictment alleges, among other things, that in the period from June 1992 to late 1992 during the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina, within the widespread and systematic attack of the Army, Police and paramilitary units against civilian population in the Sarajevo municipalities of Centar, Vogošća and Ilijaš, Goran Sarić, in the capacity as Chief of a newly-established Public Security Station Centar for the area of the Serb Municipality Centar, which was located in the compound of Psychiatric Hospital Jagomir in Sarajevo, and as a member of the joint criminal enterprise acted with a discriminatory intent to implement the common goal of persecuting Bosniak and Croat population on ethnic and religious grounds.
Counts of the indictment:
Goran Sarić is charged with Crimes against Humanity in violation of Article 172(1)(h) of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CC BiH) in conjunction with Article 180(1) of CC BiH (individual criminal responsibility).
Course of the proceedings:
On 31 January 2012, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed the Indictment under which the Accused Goran Sarić is charged with the criminal offense of Crimes against Humanity.
At a plea hearing held on 12 March 2012, the accused Goran Sarić pleaded not guilty.
On 8 May 2012 the main trial in this case commenced.
The evidentiary proceedure is completed.
