Staniša Gluhajić was born in Tuzla in 1957. He graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Belgrade in 1982 and completed internship at the District Court in Tuzla. Having passed the bar exam in 1983, he was appointed Judge of the Municipal Court in Tuzla. In the period from 1986 until the end of 1990, he performed duty of the member and secretary of the Executive Board of the Municipal Assembly in Tuzla. In the period from 1991 until 2003, he worked as Attorney in Tuzla and Belgrade. In November 2003, he started working as Prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office in Tuzla. He was appointed judge of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina on 18 January 2007.
