On Thursday, 6 October 2011, the Second Regional Conference of Supreme Court Presidents and State Chief Prosecutors on cooperation in criminal matters will be held in Sarajevo, organized by the BiH highest judicial institutions and OSCE Mission in BiH. During the two-day conference, the representatives of the regional judiciary will discuss the possibilities of enhancing the cooperation in various segments of work and potential regional projects.

 

The conference will begin on Thursday, at 09:00 o’clock, at the Evropa Hotel. From 09:00 to 09:10 the reporters will have the opportunity to take clips and photographs. At 10:15, Meddžida Kreso, the President of the Court of BiH, Amir Jaganjac, President of the FBiH Supreme Court, Želimir Barić, President of the RS Supreme Court, and Mahmud Švraka, RS Chief Prosecutor, will address the media.

 

The Conference will end on Friday afternoon, 7 October 2011.

 

The first regional conference of the Supreme Court Presidents and Chief Prosecutors was held last year in Montenegro. Such mode of cooperation has been assessed as very valuable in terms of exchange of experiences and concrete solutions in offering international legal assistance in criminal matters.
