Damjanović Dragan, born on 23 November 1961 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The accused is in custody since 3 March 2006. The Court confirmed the indictment on 29 March 2006.
On 13 June 2007, the Appellate Panel of Section I for War Crimes of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina handed down the final verdict in the case of Dragan Damjanović, sentencing him to 20 years long term imprisonment.

Factual allegations in the indictment:
The indcictment alleges that between July 1992 and January 1993, as a part of widespread and systematic attack of the Republika Srpska Army (RSA) against Bosniac population from Vogošća area, Dragan Damjanović committed murders, torture, rapes and other inhumane acts.
According to the factual allegation in the indictment, in July 1992 the accused seperated five civilians from the group taken to preform forced labour in Reljevo, took them to Žuč and murdered them. In the same period, as the indictment alleges, from an appartment building in Vogošća the accused took two persons and ever since these two persons are missing. As further alleged, in the place called Svrake, municipality of Vogošća the accused came to the house of one couple in July 1992 and murdered them both using fireamrs.
On 30 August 1992, as the indictment alleges, the accused tortured one prisoner from camp „Planjina kuća“ by cutting his face with a knife and marking cross on his noce. Prisoner's blood was running down his face to the plate with a food having made the prisoner to eat with the blood.
As further alleged, in September 1992 the accused broke into the house of a Bosniac family, hitting and maltreating the couple, particularly the husband. As continued in the indictment, the accused took the wife upstairs where he coerced her to sexual intercourse.
As stated in the indictment, Dragan Damjanović was coming to the camp „Planjina kuća“ (municipality of Vogošća) several times between August 1992 and February 1993 where he, together with other individuals, maltreated, tortured and beat prisoners, he was also taking them to forced labour and human shield. As further stated, the accused took one prisoner from „Planjina kuća“ camp, maltreated him and tortured him by marking the cross on the prisoner's forehead and them took him aside and killed him.

Course of proceedings:
The Court confirmed the indictment against Dragan Damjanović on 29 March 2006. At a plea hearing held on 14 April 2006 the Accused pleaded not guilty. On 15 December 2006, the Trial Panel rendered the first instance verdict finding the Accused guilty of Crimes against humanity, and sentencing him to 20 years imprisonment. On 13 June 2007, the Appellate Panel of Section I for War Crimes of the Court handed down the final verdict in this case, modifying the sentence handed down by the Trial Panel from 20 years imprisonment to 20 years long term imprisonment.
