(17.08.2012. 15:46)

Prosecution closing speech before the Section I for War Crimes of the Court of BiH in the case v. Dragan Nešković et al. is scheduled to take place on 20 August 2012, starting at 11:00 a.m. in Courtroom 4. The Accused Dragan Nešković and Zoran Ilić are charged with the criminal offence of Crimes against Humanity.

The Indictment alleges that the Accused Nešković and Ilić, as members of the Jahorina Training Center of the Special Police Brigade of the RS Ministry of the Interior, on 12 and 13 July 1995, in the village of Budak near Potočari, armed with automatic rifles, took part in the search of Bosniak houses in order to round up Bosniaks and take them to the UN base in Potočari. As further alleged in the Indictment, on 13 and 14 July 1995, along the Kravica-Konjević Polje road, the Accused Nešković and Ilić, together with other members of the Jahorina Training Center, took part in the capture of Bosniaks who were later on taken in groups to the Kravica Farming Cooperative where their execution took place. The Accused Nešković allegedly ordered two members of the aforementioned Center to kill two Bosniak male captives, which they did.

The Accused Ilić, allegedly, fired individual bullets from the automatic weapons into the piles of bodies of the previously executed captives, thus finishing them off to make sure there are no survivors. On 17 July 1995 Ilić allegedly summarily executed one Bosniak male captive in the village of Jelah.
