On 22 June 2012, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina granted a Motion filed by the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and rendered a Decision ordering the Suspects Ostoja Stanišić and Marko Milošević into one-month custody. Pursuant to this Decision their custody may last until 21 July 2012.

 

Ostoja Stanišić and Marko Milošević are suspected of the criminal offence of Genocide.

 

Having examined the submitted evidence, the Court concluded that there is grounded suspicion that the Suspects committed the criminal offence with which they have been charged. The Court ordered the Suspects into custody because of the risk that if released, they might hinder the inquiry by influencing the witnesses, accomplices and accessories, as well as for the protection of public peace.
