After the plea agreement was considered and the statement on admission of guilt accepted, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina pronounced the Verdict on 14 June 2012 finding the Accused Luan Oruqi guilty of the criminal offense of Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs. Consequently, the Court of BIH sentenced the Accused to five-year imprisonment and seized from the Accused the items used in the commission of the criminal offense.

The operative part of the Verdict reads, among other things, that the Accused Luan Oruqi, as a member of organized group of people engaged in the illicit international sale, transfer and transport of substances that have been declared narcotic drugs.  In early 2012, the Accused, Luan Oruqi, arranged with a person known to him for the transportation of narcotic drug heroine from the territory of Kosovo to the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina, city of Sarajevo, in exchange for a certain monetary compensation.

The Court further rendered a decision extending the custody of the Accused Luan Oruqi.  Under the said Decision, the custody may last until the Accused is sent to serve the prison term but no longer than the expiration of the term to which he was sentenced.
